Getting Your Voice Over Recorded

Getting a Voice Over Recorded by Professional Voice Talent

You’ve finalized your script and you’re ready to hire a voice over artist to record it. But where do you start, and how does the process of hiring professional voice talent work? While different voice over artists might have a different process, I prefer to keep my process quick and simple when working with my clients. This ensures that the steps to move forward are clear and that I can provide professional-grade voice over recordings with a quick turnaround time.

As a professional, award-winning, professional voice over talent, I currently work with over 70 radio and TV stations worldwide as a voice over artist. I have completed hundreds of voice over projects for my clients all over the world. All of this is done out of my full service professional studios located in Charlotte, NC where I only use high-end professional-grade studio gear. If you’re looking to hire a voice over artist, I would love to hear from you about your project. You can take a look at my process below to see how simple it is to get your script recorded by a voice over artist.

Getting a voice over recorded by a voice over artist

  1. Provide script and get a quote

When you initially reach out to me, you will provide the script so that I can take a look and give a proper quote. Since there are many styles such as explainer, instructional, narration, commercial, radio, TV, etc. as well as a variety of script lengths, I will need the script to see what we’re going to be working on together. Once I’ve seen your script, I can provide you with a final quote for the job for you to go over.

2.  Send final script

Once the quote has been approved, then it’s time for you to send me the final script if any changes have been made since you sent the first script. Things move pretty quickly from here so it’s essential that you’re confident in sending me the final version at this point. When I have the final script in hand, I will usually get to work and have the voice over recording done for you within close to 24 hours, give or take.

3.  Voice over will be delivered

After about 24 hours, you will receive the voice over recording you’ve hired me to do. When I send this over, you will have a chance to review the recording and make sure that it’s what you’re looking for.

4.  Provide any revisions (optional)

At this point, if you have any changes you want to make to the recording you ordered we can do a round of revisions. If you need any revisions done, all you have to do is provide me with what you’d like changed and I will do my best to get you the final version as soon as possible. If the recording is perfect as is, then no additional steps need to be taken and what you’ve been delivered is ready for use for your project.

As a professional voice talent, I will always provide you with a quality recording within a reasonable time frame so that you can move forward with your project.  Reach out now if you'd like to move forward with your voice over project!
